The souls are always present, as the sun is always present. During the darkness of night we say there is no sun? The truth is , the sun is shining elsewhere. It is no different. Secondly, the medium must be a very clear channel. Some are very open, however, most do not receive as well. This can be a barrier to contact. Thirdly, many do not really understand the communication process. They miss or mis understand what is being sent. It is not a fault or a criticism, it simply is what happens. i have seen it over and over again. I hope this helps.

Fred...grief always seeks confirmation. Wounds seek healing, for many they find comfort in the finding of coins, pennies, feathers, and so on. If it comforts you, enjoy it.

Your insight is correct. Grief can drive the incredible need to believe in fantasy and imagination. Love is the message. Love is the contact. Love is all that is needed.

A grandmothers touch, how beautiful. The energy of the souls can be felt and experienced in many ways. For some the dream doorway is very powerful, for others a scent or a sign comforts their tears. In some very rare cases, tactile vibrations of touch can be sensed by those who unknowingly have an open doorway. It is powerful and carries with it a great presence of peace. Your grandmother found the entrance to her beautiful granddaughter. .

I have met many who insist that the energy field of the departed flows through appliances, a blinking light, a TV that wont shut off, a text that seems to arise from nowhere. For some, they demand it to be true, citing events they claim to be authentic. Unfortunately, I feel they are groping to believe. If they really looked back in time, they would discover that these events happen to every family, all the time. Man made appliances eventually respond to age , use and disfunction. In every home at sometime. The union of grief and a bad appliance makes for a perfect connection. Sigh!

Analyzing is very helpful. It allows the intelligence of thought to separate fantasy from reality. Grief often creates wounds, When wounds are present we seek comfort and healing, even if driven by imagination. One of the most common searches is to seek external signs, romantic images that soothe the heart. Bird feathers, coins and so on. True signs are not universal, they actually quite personal. The reason for this is that the souls want you to know it is them, not a generic idea of them. You can not search for signs, they arise when the soul is ready to receive them.
