Resistance

Resistance to what has happened is a form of denial, avoidance. When one is dealing with the truth, the raw, sometimes painful facts of what is true, a shift in one's consciousness takes place.

There is a shift from darkness to light, from hiding to illumination. This is the spiritual window that all great teachers have pointed to...thus, the expression, only the truth will set you free from all suffering, sorrow and pain.
