QUESTION:
Robert,
I woke up the other day and smelled this strong smell of coffee being brewed,as I walked through my kitchen and it traveled into my living room where my husband was sitting. I kept asking him if he smelled it he said no. Then all of a sudden he looked up at me and smiled and said I smell it now.Neither one of us are coffee drinkers. I opened the door to the hall to see if it was coming from out there it wasn’t. My mom who lived upstairs from us until she died suddenly December 2006 was a great coffee drinker. It reminded us of her. My youngest daughter also smelled it when she woke up, briefly. She dreamed a lot of my mother when she died and had very detailed dreams she always was able to explain to us all the dreams. She was 7 at the time of my mom’s passing. Please tell me what it means. We took it as a special hello that warmed our hearts.
Lisa
ANSWER:
Dear Lisa,
Thank you for your inquiry. Congratulations, what your family experienced is what is commonly called a spontaneous breakthrough visit. These wonderful experiences are often very unexpected and do not require any special preparation. In this case your mother’s love came across the veil through the smell of coffee. Your mother’s spirit knew that your daughter, you and your husband would recognize her!!! Wake up to the smell of her coffee!
Although subtle in it’s approach these personal contacts are very moving and surrounded in love.
In the Spirit,
